Whenever I mention AI in the clinic, I get a barrage of instant feedback. It ranges from “AI will take our jobs!” to “I can’t wait for AI to catch up to what I need it to do!” Whatever your feelings about AI, it is here, and here to stay.. Even Google is not the Google it used to be: It now has “AI Overview” at the top of its search results. Apple has “Apple Intelligence” built into its new phones, and ChatGPT has become a household word. So, what is AI and how can we use it in ophthalmic administration, now and in the future?
