When doctors discuss the patient experience, they often focus on the quality of care provided during and after treatment. However, the patient experience actually begins long before that with an awareness of your practice and the perceptions associated with it. These early impressions, formed through individual research, will determine whether someone reaches out for treatment or looks elsewhere, usually before it’s possible to directly communicate with them.
