Key 2018 MIPS Changes: ASCRS•ASOA Releases New Guide

ASCRS•ASOA members have exclusive access to a new factsheet outlining key changes to MIPS for the 2018 performance year, which impacts 2020 payment. Following advocacy by ASCRS and the medical community, CMS made some key changes for 2018 performance. This quick reference guide provides ophthalmology practices with an overview of those changes.

Among the changes included: increasing the MIPS performance threshold to 15 points, small practice accommodations, changing the Advancing Care Information category name to Promoting Interoperability, and increasing the weight of the Cost category to 10% of the MIPS final score. Download the guide now for more details.
