Deadline Extended to December 16 - ASOA Board of Directors: Call for Nominations

The ASOA Board of Directors is currently seeking nominations for 1-2 At-Large Member board seats beginning with the May 2017 term. The ASOA Board of Directors has the responsibility for the supervision, control and direction of ASOA and consists of ten (10) members, including seven (7) voting At-Large Members, a liaison representative from ASCRS and the ASOA Administrator Beginner’s Circle (ABC), and the President of the National Board for the Certification of Ophthalmic Executives (NBCOE). All members of the ASOA Board must be either a Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE) or hold both a bachelor's degree and five years of experience in ophthalmology. At-Large board members each serve a two (2) year term. Additional information on the duties of the Board can be found on the ASOA Board of Directors page.

NOW is your opportunity to have your voice heard. Please use the Call for Nominations form to nominate yourself or one of your colleagues. the nomination period has been extended and all nominations must be received by ASOA no later than Friday, December 16, 2016.

Individuals assuming a board seat should plan on attending the Thursday, May 4, 2017 ASOA Board of Directors meeting in Los Angeles, CA.
