CMS Extends 2016 Meaningful Use Deadline Participants Must Attest by March 13, 2017

Today, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced it was extending the attestation deadline for 2016 Meaningful Use reporting. Eligible professionals now have until Monday, March 13, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. PT to attest. 

As a reminder, all eligible professionals must attest to Meaningful Use for at least a 90-day period in 2016 or else be subject to a 4% penalty in 2018. Resources to help your practice succeed are available on the ASCRS website.
