How Can I Prepare For the Exam?
There are several ways to prepare for the examination.

  1. Read the COE Handbook.PDF

  2. Attend the COE Review Course PDF at the ASOA Annual Congress.

  3. Partner with colleagues who have earned the COE by contacting them through the EyeMail Directory.

  4. Read the COE Reading List Study Package, available from ASOA.

  5. Review sample COE Exam.PDF

Note: Because the exam is confidential, only NBCOE officers know the exact questions on the exam; Review Course instructors do not teach to the test, and attendance at the program, nor review of any of the information above does not guarantee a passing exam grade.
