Candace S. Simerson, COE, CMPE
Candace S. Simerson (Candy) is President/Chief Operating Officer at Minnesota Eye Consultants, P.A., a nationally recognized ophthalmology practice specializing in refractive surgery with subspecialists in cornea, glaucoma and oculoplastics.  The practice is comprised of twelve ophthalmologists and twelveoptometrists with multiple locations in Minnesota.  In addition to over twenty-five years of experience in medical practice management, Candy is a Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE) and a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE.)     Candy is currently President of Minnesota Medical Group Management Association.  She has also lectured and published several articles regarding practice management trends. Candy is a past-president of American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators and is a past Chair for the National Board for the Certification of Ophthalmic Executives.
