Lisa Gangi
Lisa Gangi, COE joined Ophthalmic Consultants, P.A. in Sarasota, FL in 1987 as a certified medical assistant and became the Practice Administrator in 1993. Prior to being promoted, Lisa worked at the front desk, ran the billing and collections department and filled in as a technician when needed. Ophthalmic Consultants' primary focus is diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous, along with providing care to the premature babies in the NICU for the last 20 years. Other specialties associated with Ophthalmic Consultants in the past have been ophthalmic plastics and neuro-ophthalmology. This is a 2 MD/18 FTE practice with 2 satellite offices. They also have a part time OD that provides low vision examinations and low vision aids to assist their patients with activities of daily living.

Lisa has been a member of ASOA since 1999 and is active with the Florida Society of Ophthalmic Administrators group.
